This is a quick, easy recipe, and it also happens to be so delicious! What else can I say?

Total Time: 10 minutes to prepare, plus an hour baking time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/4 cup mashed bananas (this was about 3 bananas)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a regular-sized bread or loaf pan.
  2. Beat sugar, eggs and oil in a large bowl on medium speed with electric mixer. Mix until combined.
  3. Add in banana and vanilla on low speed.

  5. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
  6. Add to banana mixture, mixing on low speed, just until combined.

  8. Stir in chocolate chips.

  10. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
  11. Bake 60-70 minutes, until toothpick inserted in middle of bread comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.

In our household when we have ripe bananas, they will not go to waste! You can make this delicious chocolate chip banana bread.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cup whole wheat pastry organic flour
  • 1 tsp ground Saigon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 3 bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup millet
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Steps:

  1. In a large bowl, mix your dried ingredients (flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and millet)
  2. Finely chop up or mash your ripe bananas. Put the bananas in a bowl and crack eggs.
  3. Put the bananas in a bowl and crack eggs.
  4. Using a small pan, add coconut oil on low warm heat until liquid.
  5. In the bowl with the bananas and eggs, add maple syrup, coconut oil and mix. Then add your dried ingredients that were set aside earlier. Mix throughly until smooth.
  6. Incorporate chocolate chips (which is optional) and mix.
  7. Use some remainder coconut oil and flour on the pan for smooth withdrawal of the banana bread when finish baking.
  8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes (or until ready as it depends one everyones oven)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, opt.

Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, bananas, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to the banana mixture and mix just until combined. Fold in nuts, if desired. Transfer to a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
