Don't Throw Away Your Christmas Cards!
They can be used for so many things next Christmas: decoupage, wreaths, ornaments, decorations, collage, etc., etc., etc.

Make Gift Tags From Christmas Cards
Not wanting to throw them away, for years I have recycled them as gift tags on my Christmas gifts. Select the tag from the front of your card and cut the size needed, tape on package or, using hole punch, can be added to handle on bags.

Recycle Christmas Cards Fronts Onto New Cards
Here's a great way to use old Christmas cards or those Christmas card samples you get in the mail, or even those Christmas cards you get on clearance after Christmas. If you are like me, then you get those sample card fronts with the beautiful pictures asking you to buy the design. They can be expensive and I hate to throw those beautiful cards away.

Missed Sending Out Christmas Cards?
There have been times that I was so busy working as a musician over the holidays, that I didn't have time to send cards, etc. So, I just sent everything out in January and said "Happy New Year!

Decorated Christmas Card Envelope
I sent in my Christmas card envelope that I painted last year, so thought you might be interested in this year's. The card had a snowman with a string of lights and he had a cap in red, white and blue so I made the envelope to match, hope you enjoy.

Make Your Own Christmas Cards
You can use any paper that you have on hand, like scrap paper, construction paper, etc. Cut and fold the paper so it will fit into an envelope. Decorate the outside of the card with stamps or pictures from old Christmas cards that have been sent to you.

Save Christmas Cards From The Past Year
I always keep my Christmas cards from the year before, that way I can answer any questions that people may have wanted to know about family/events during the year. Also, if I am running short of Christmas decorations, I can re-hang some of last years cards on tinsel to fill up any empty spots.

Personalize Your Envelopes With Clipart
I personalize my Christmas card envelopes by inserting family or pet photos and dress up the envelope with Christmas clip art. I changed the page set up in my Microsoft Word program so the pictures, clipart, return address label and the "to" address appear in the appropriate spot on my envelope.
