Use Christmas Lights Year Round
Christmas lights...not just for Christmas anymore! Think about buying a few packs of lights after this year's holiday when they go on clearance . . . and use them all year round. Strings of "Red" lights adds a lot more romance to a Valentines Day.

Place Window Candles on Tuna Can "Risers"
I have found that the Christmas candles for the windows are too low with the new energysaving windowsills. I put a can of tuna fish under the candle to boost it up. You could use a taller can if you need it higher.
