Buy Reduced Red and Green Items for Other Holidays

Red and green items are usually drastically reduced after Christmas and New Years - candles, paper goods, dishes, etc. Think ahead to two other upcoming days that you will use those colors, namely red for Valentine's Day, and green for St. Patrick's Day.

Wildlife: An Outdoor Christmas Offering

My mother thought it would be nice if the creatures in her garden could enjoy Christmas as much as the rest of the family. She took pine cones and stuck on cheerios and berries on with a glue made out of rice and water. I'd say these critters are pretty excited!

Our Trip On The Polar Express

Our Trip On The Polar ExpressLast year, we gave our boys, then 7 and 5, a trip on the Polar Express. We were unable to do it on Christmas Eve so we did it the day before. It was a total surprise.
