Good Stuffing Recipes
For some time I have been looking for a good recipe for dressing that is not stuffed in the bird, but baked separately. I would appreciate any that anyone can pass on. Thanks.

Easy Sweet Potatoes
Just drain most of the liquid from your can of yams or sweet potatoes. Dot with butter and sprinkle on a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar. Cover with foil and set in the oven with your bird for the last 30 minutes (at 350 degrees F) or 45 minutes (at 325 degrees F.)

Christmas Salad
Dissolve lime gelatin in 1 cup hot water and add 3/4 cup cold water. Pour into 8x11 inch dish to make bottom layer. Put into refrigerator and let set up. Dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup hot water. Beat cream cheese into hot gelatin.

Holiday Chicken Salad
In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise with paprika and seasoned salt. Blend in dried cranberries, celery, bell pepper, onion, and nuts. Add chopped chicken, and mix well.

Paw-Paw's Dressing
This is my FIL's WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and Christmas dressing recipe. He "shared" the recipe with me when I became a part of the family. Trust me, it is AWESOME and you will want to make an extra batch of it because it will go fast. All of the grandkids fight over the last piece. Yum Yum.

Corn Bread Dressing
Crumble cornbread fine and combine with rice. Add chili powder and salt to taste. Saute' onions and celery in a stick of butter or margarine, adding parsley as it cooks a little.

Traditional Christmas Celery and Almonds
Cut celery diagonally in 1 inch slices. Cook in boiling chicken broth to cover 5 minutes. Drain. Melt butter in saucepan; add flour and mix thoroughly.

Holiday Salad
Recipe for Holiday Salad. Dissolve the lemon and 1 package of lime gelatin in the 1 cup boiling water. While still warm, add the salt and mayonnaise. You'll need to use an egg beater for blending completely.

Frozen Christmas Salad
Recipe for Frozen Christmas Salad. Soften cream cheese to room temperature. Blend with mayonnaise until smooth. fold in whipped cream (or whipped topping) and gently stir in pineapple, cherries, pineapple flavoring and marshmallows.
