We have a tradition at our house after our Thanksgiving meal; our adult children and grandchildren hang large Christmas ornaments in the trees in our yard.
Once again Christmas will be enjoyed by us all. The many Christmas gifts we will be shopping for, the many delightful packages we place beneath our beautiful trees with all the lights and decorations that we have waited a full year to bring out and share with our family and friends.

Although this celebration is now mostly celebrated in Mexico, many immigrants are bringing this to America. I first heard about this tradition when I was invited to attend one night of the nine nights of this celebration. It was a delightful experience.
