Potato Candy
My Aunt who lived in West Virginia and has passed use to make Potato Candy. That's what she called it anyway. I thought I had written it down but I have either lost it or I didn't write it down. I know she boiled potatoes and peeled them. But from there I don't remember what she did. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? Can you help me please? Thank you for your help.

Stretching Your Christmas Turkey
After Christmas dinner, DO NOT throw the carcass away. Remove all meat from carcass and pack in freezer bags. Take the carcass, place in large pot of water and add 3 large sliced onions and 3 or 4 stalks celery, salt, pepper and parsley flakes.

Buy Calendars After the Holidays For Half Price
Everyone in my immediate family and several close friends know that within a day or two after Christmas, I'll hit the local bookstores (Borders, Barnes and Noble) and get calendars at 1/2 price, and give them as their "after Christmas/Hanukkah gifts". I spend as much as $100, but get $200 in calendars.

Santa's Buttons
One of my family's favorite cookies is also the easiest for me to make this time of year. The recipe is called Santa's Buttons. All you do is take prepared sugar cookie dough (homemade or bought at the store), roll into 1 1/2" balls and then roll into red and green colored sugar.
