To remove marker from a wall, use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. Don't rub too hard and it should come off.

I have gotten permanent marker off using hand sanitizer. There is also a product sold at Dollar General called "Totally Awesome" that will remove the marker. This product works like nothing I have ever tried. It cleans anything. Hope this helps. (05/01/2010)
