Cleaning Soap Scum on Shower Doors

I read that lemon oil can be used to clean Plexiglas shower doors. Is Old English lemon oil for wood surfaces OK to use on the doors?
Thanks for any help.

Soap scum is a mixture of dead skin and soap. Rub a cheap shampoo onto a sponge and rub the doors with it. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so and then scrub off. The degreaser in the shampoo will combat the soap scum.

If you have a lot of calcium in your water and the insides turn blue try using Goo Gone for hard water. I found it at Bed, Bath and Beyond in the coffee department (to remove hard water stains from your coffee maker). It helps with the hard water deposits. (08/28/2010)
