If you have the patience to take all the crystals off, the best way is to put them in the sink with hot water and vinegar. All of them will comes out sparkling, and just let them air dry on a towel. (10/24/2006)

I read somewhere to take an umbrella and open it turn it upside down and hang it on the chandelier. Next take a spray bottle of cleaner and spray the glass pieces the excess will fall into the umbrella.

My sisters MIL used to put all the piece on the top rack of the dishwasher put it on rinse and through in a cup of vinegar. (no soap) and it came out awesome. Then she would have her 16 year old put it all back up. LOL..

Good luck.

My chandelier is too old and delicate to remove the pieces individually. I lay two or three large bath towels across the table below and spray the pieces down with glass cleaner or a mixture of warm water and vinegar in a spray bottle. (10/26/2006)
