Can you put Silpat pan liners (silicone and fiberglass) in the dishwasher?

I have an off-brand silicone pan liner that I put on top of whatever I have in the top rack of my dishwasher and it comes out fine.
Sure you can put them in the dishwasher, but why would you want to? It takes just a couple of seconds to wash them off or wipe them off with your dish rag and a quick dry and your done!
