Cleaning an Electric Tooth Brush

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 418 Posts

To clean the brush head for my electric tooth brush, I put it in a deep (3 inches tall) prescription pill bottle, fill the bottle with hydrogen peroxide covering the brush head. I give it a good shake and let it soak. After soaking, I use a Q-tip to clean the opening that connects the brush to the motor part and then rinse in hot water.

The bottle is deep enough that the peroxide covers the entire brush head, but narrow enough that it does not take a lot to fill it.
