I have a thirty-year old book that I've decided to sell on eBay. When I first bought it all those years ago I wrote my name and address in it with a ball-point pen, because I never thought I'd sell it. How can I remove my name and address without ruining the book? The words are written on the inside of the front cover. Thanks for any advice.
I recently purchased a large lot of paperback books. The books are in great physical condition. They smell horrible. I believe they have been in a garage for years. (Old gas, oil, exhaust-just like you would think). Any way to remove the smell? Thanks!
Cleaning Paperback Books. Do you know that with their slick covers, the soil on paperback book covers can often be wiped off gently? Nice to know when passing around mysteries and so on to friends!
Cleaning Dust Off Books. I have a lot of hard cover books and a few soft covered books in good condition but extremely dusty. They have been in a bookcase (exposed) for years. I want to donate them to a local library. What is the best (and cheapest) way to clean them?
I stored some crafting books in my storage barn in a box for a couple of years because I didn't have room for them in my home and wasn't ready to part with them. While there, they ended up under a leak in the roof (Thanks hubby!) and got wet then dried. Some of them are now stuck together and the pages are stuck.
My daughter had a package of red jello in the bottom of her backpack and forgot about it. The books subsequently caused the package to rupture and the red jello is now all over the bottoms of her textbooks.
