Burnt Stainless Steel Pan
I have a stainless steel pan that was burnt on the inside. Now it has a dull look and greyish smears; it is not shiny any more. My question is can this type of damage be repaired without more damage and make the pan shiny again?

Allow Your Dishwasher to Air Dry
To save energy costs, I fire off that sucker just an hour before bed time, then when it's done washing, I crack it open and let it air dry. If you are picky, picky, this will not eliminate all of the water spots, but your dishes will be clean!

Cleaning an Iron Skillet
I bought a badly charred cast iron pan in a garage sale for 25 cents. This worked for me. Set your cast iron pan on a layer of newspaper, in a heavy trash bag. Add a couple layers of newspaper on top of pan, and pour in a couple cups of ammonia

Cleaning Cast Iron Pans
I use cast iron pans to help keep our blood iron levels more normal. But sometimes when we forget to season them well things get stuck on the bottom, or even Burned! Putting a little water into the hot pan will cause all the charred bits to lift right off.
