Cleaning and Polishing Leather with Banana Peels
Stop buying leather/shoe polish. To clean, buff or moisturize leather/pleather/vinyl or any shiny outerwear use a banana peel. Simply rub the inside of a banana peel over the item to be cleaned and buff with a soft cloth.

Removing Dye That Transferred Onto a Leather Purse
My new black cotton tops has caused black dye to rub off on my pink leather purse and also on my yellow purse. I have tried rubbing alcohol and also hair spray.It does nothing. Any suggestions?

My wife has the patchwork coach purse and I accidentally got Scotchgard on the leather. Now it is not stained but you can see the Scotchgard on it and I can't clean it off. Does anyone know how?
