For getting spots out of fine linen, soak in 1 Tbsp of dishwasher machine powder. If stubborn, add a few drops of bleach (if white). If not white, add 30% peroxide.

Swiffer disposable dusters are washable.Just throw in with a regular load of washing, hang to dry and get more uses out of them. You can also spray with a little 'endust' to help trap the dust.

| Lestoil to Remove Gum
I have found Lestoil works to remove chewing gum. I would assume that it would work on clothing as well as my daughter dropped her chewing gum on her bed sheet.

| Safely Cleaning Porcelain, Enamel, etc.
Purchase "Whiting" from your Paint department (it's used to thicken paint and is the 'white' powdered residue that you see after polishing your car) for about $5/3-5lbs. (don't worry, this will last about 15 years). I purchased a large (6oz) salt shaker for using it.

| Using Tea Tree Oil for Cleaning
Using 2 cups of water and several drops of pure tea tree oil will clean dirt off windowsills, and clean mostly anything wooden. Also use tea tree oil, diluted with water and sprayed on a child's hair, keeps the lice away.

| Re-oiling Cleaning Cloths
I absolutely LOVE those yellow, lint-free, oiled cleaning cloths that are purchased at stores, for dusting furniture. They're so great to use because I don't have to use any other products or chemicals and they work so well at picking up dust. But when I wash them, I've noticed the oil comes out of them and then they're just plain cloths.

| Store Wipes Upside Down
When storing the disinfecting wipes (that I use daily!), turn the container upside down and the wipes will not dry out so quickly.

| Dr. Bronners Magic Soap
I put diluted Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap in an old foam soap dispenser. Using the foam dispenser makes the diluted soap a lot easier to use. The kids love using foamy soap!
