Buy Double Pairs of the Same Socks
Disappearing socks resulting in mismatched socks can be remedied by not buying socks in single pairs. Buying in double pairs means I have an extra, matching sock after one disappears.

Buy Matching Men's Socks
I often buy several pairs of the same color of socks so that if one sock of the pair wears out, there will still be several mates.

Ryan's Jacket in the Movie "Just Friends"
Does anyone know where I could find a jacket like the one Ryan wears in the movie Just Friends? My husband liked it and I wanted to get him one for his birthday.

Frugal Feet
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh
Shoes are a weakness for many women. It's easy to spend a fortune on a closet full of shoes, but it's very impractical. Instead, try to make wise decisions when purchasing shoes and avoid buying "cute" shoes for that reason only.

Designer Names at Thrift Shops
About 12 years ago, I had to find a way to buy my husbands shirts. He was forever burning holes in them smoking. I decided to try a thrift store. I was embarrassed to go in but I did. WELL, I was so surprised at the people shopping there; well off and well heeled.

Buy Family Members Different Socks
When my children were home we could never match socks for each person. So I decided for my husband and son that one person got the solid white crews/tube sock and the other person got socks with stripes.

Save on Suits
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh
Whether it's for an upcoming wedding, a job interview, or a fine dinner, everyone needs to have one good suit in the closet. While women can get away without the business style suit until it's time for a job interview, for men it carries more importance. Yet, such a critical element to the wardrobe is most likely the most expensive one as well. The average men's suit is expected to cost $500, with women's suits coming in noticeably lower. There are some ways to save, but more notably there are more ways to 'get more bang for the buck.'

Product Review: No Nonsense "Ahh, Said the Foot" Socks
Product: No Nonsense "Ahh, Said the Foot" SocksI've been looking for some soft, cushiony socks, in black anklets. I finally found some in this brand. For my foot size, I had to choose the men's socks (same make and color).

Proud Mom - My Frugal Son
I have bought my children's clothes from yard sales, and thrift stores for years. Not too long ago, my 19-year-old son came to me and asked if I wanted to go to the thrift store with him, and told me that he was hunting for clothes. While I was busy gathering my "treasures", Phillip went clothes shopping. He got 4 pairs of pants, and 5 shirts for $35.00, all name-brand items.
