Colloidal Silver for Treating Burns

I now keep an old fashioned product on hand - Colloidal Silver. It's essentially the liquid produced by generating electricity through silver. It is antiseptic, antiviral and antifungal. It also has a miracle property of numbing the area of the burn while cleansing and treating it.

From there, I will coat it with some aloe vera. Bandaging as needed. I'm clumsy and frequently burn or cut myself. I now grab the colloidal silver as my first line of treatment, for my dogs as well. It's also a wonderful substance for cleaning the kitchen and parrot cage.

Colloidal Silver or Silver Water is an antiseptic, can be applied topically for burns, or drunk to get rid of flu or similar bugs. It is NOT for cleaning bird cages or kitchen counters. Use Hydrogen Peroxide for those.

Silver water is not made by generating electricity. Quite the opposite. Unless you have a silver mine and can collect the wall drippings, your need electricity to produce colloidal silver. It is really easy to produce it.

Look at the diagram, that I uploaded almost 20 years ago at webby.com/.../colloidal.jpg
Keep in mind that you need real silver wire for that. It costs about $7 per foot for 16 gauge at www.ccsilver.com/.../superfines.html

Melted snow or fridge frost works fine to use as distilled water, or you can buy it by the gallon at the drug store. Don't use tap water!

Keep silver water cold and in the dark if you are not using it right away. Colloidal Silver is Mono-Atomic silver, and not stable. It has a strong need to latch onto something. The one open end of a virus, that the virus uses to grab oxygen from the blood, works like an electro-magnet for the mono-atomic silver and it quickly latches on. That prevents the virus from taking up oxygen, and instead of multiplying, it dies.

In a dark blue glass bottle kept in the fridge, it will stay active for a few days. However, strore-bought stuff, that may be years old, is normally quite useless.

I make mine in a glass beer mug, and start sipping it right away. It should have a light golden sheen to it, and a slightly "different" taste to it, not bitter. If it is bitter, you left it generating too long.

Don't drink or use silver water every day. It will mess up the good bacteria in your bowels. It is most effective when used only when needed, not as a preventative measure.

When I got a large nasty third-degree burn on my leg from backing into one of those raised metal fire pit deals, my Dr. prescribed Thermazine Silver Sulfadiazine Cream (1%) to treat the burn. I put on a little of the cream and then covered with a bandage.

It healed wonderfully and I now hardly have a scar - the skin is smooth and just a few shades darker than the rest of my skin. Every year it gets a little lighter - it's been a few years and you now have to look for the scar. If it's the same stuff, it works amazingly.
