I colour my hair once a month, when it turns to grey hair. I have loads of grey. When I colour it gets itchy. Is this normal?

I have had several hair stylists tell me people shouldn't color their hair more often than every three months. You should probably see a dermatologist, about the itching.
You might be allergic to the products. This is what happened to me.
You can use a dye just on the roots and color your hair less often. I also would try a different kind of dye. If your head itches, you have a bit of an allergic reaction going on. I used to have an itchy scalp after I had my hair dyed at the hair salon.
