May Day Baskets
By Debra Frick
May Day is the forgotten holiday by many but the sentiments of the day make it a perfect holiday to remember the beautiful things we have been waiting for all winter. Who does not wait for the first flowers of spring?

Craft Project: CD Spindle Toilet Paper Holder
Here is my version of a cost free recycled TP holder for your bathroom. This is a great recycling craft that is easy enough for kids to do with parent supervision. This is an earth friendly craft as we need to recycle, reuse as much as we can to keep plastic out of the land fills.

Craft Project: Crocheted Fingerless Gloves
By Debra Frick
These gloves would be great for any romantic dinner. They are a long glove that should hit right between the elbow and wrist. Ladylike gloves are making a big come back right now. These also could be made for a wedding or prom.

Craft Project: Pinecone Trees
By Debra Frick
These trees are quite easy to make and they would look great on a table or any small place you would like to put them. They also seem to be the right size to go with the miniature villages that are so popular these days.

Craft Project: Little Girl's Ribbon Scarf
By Debra Frick
This is a quick and easy scarf that can be made in a couple of hour's time. It is perfect for those little ladies on your list. Or if you like the pattern, you can continue on and make it longer for an adult. It uses about a 1/2 to a 1/4 of a skein so this would be a great project to use up the last of that skein from another project. When it is worked in a light weight yarn it is a very pretty, very feminine lacy scarf.

Craft Project: Crochet Gingerbread House
By Debra Frick
This project is a scrap yarn project. You need very little yarn to complete this project maybe an ounce of the main color and just scraps of the white yarn. At my local craft store I found lots of miniature tree ornaments that I put to use in this project plus I had some left over jewels from another project I had. This would be a great way to use up those tiny leftovers that you have from other craft projects.

The Crochet Book: A Gift
By Debra Frick
Here is a great Christmas gift that you can work on from now until Christmas. It is a crochet book for a new or old crocheter. Since it is made on your computer it would be easy to make duplicate copies and if you are a crocheter like me, it would be fun just looking at all those patterns.

Craft Project: Rose Beads
By Debra Frick
These beads are made from the petals of the rose. It is a great way to save the beauties of the spring and summer. When you wear any jewelry made with these beads the heat of your skin releases the fragrance of the roses they are made from. No need for extra perfume.

Craft Project: Easy Crocheted Butterflies
By Debra Frick
These easy crocheted butterflies are easy enough for a beginner crocheter and can be used for many things. These would be wonderful for Mother's Day or a birthday. You could easily whip up a bunch of these to be used to decorate Mother's Day presents or to hang in a window or make them into napkin rings.
