Advice For Buying A Scanner
Can anyone give me advice about purchasing a scanner for crafts? I am a decoupier and want to scan many of my original images and then use the printed ones. I have never owned a scanner before but feel that I can't live without one now. I have heard that there are different types depending on what you want to do with them. I am also a teacher and would like to also scan text as well. Thank you in advance for any help.

Thrift Store Computers
Sometimes you can actually get computers in thrift shops. There's one in an upscale city near us where you can get a whole setup for less than $100.

Cheap Ink Cartridges
Cheap ink cartridge ideas. My ink ran out on my free printer cartridges that came with my Dell computer. The prices on replacements are astronomical and all these coupon people want you to print coupons off on the websites. I can't see where that is saving anything but putting me in the hole.

Refurbished Computers
If you are looking for a deal on a computer and are leery of buying one from an online auction, you may want to consider refurbished computers. Large computer manufacturers like Dell and Apple sell refurbished computers with warranties at a 15% to 40% discount over buying the computer new.
