| Use Old Dresser as a Computer Desk
I decided to decorate the spare bedroom in a "country" theme, but it still needs to house the family computer. I bought an old dresser with one long drawer in the center, and 3 drawers on each side, with the center open for a chair.

| Wrist Support While Using Mouse
Need a wrist support to use while operating your mouse? They're not cheap in the stores. So I use a travel-sized pack of facial tissues. It is the perfect height, and very soft.

| Set Timer to Limit Computer Time
I found once I got my own computer just how easy it was to waste an entire day on my computer and not get anything else done. Now I set the kitchen timer for how ever long I want to spend time on my computer and when it goes off, I get up and leave to do other things.

| Tips for Using an iMac
I just received an iMac as a gift and I am a little lost. I'd prefer not to have to buy Microsoft Office and Adobe to put on this new computer, but I don't know if I can do what I want to without them. I have been using Thinkfree Office for Write, and Show but miss MS publisher.

I have been typing for many years, but I still find I have to look for some keys. For instance, F11 is a great key to maximize a page, but I always have to look for it, until now!

| Computer Tips for Seniors
For our senior citizens. This is for those of us with brain fog and using computers. I keep an address book to keep up with passwords and sign in info. It stays right in a drawer or by the computer. Buy printer paper when it is on sale.

| Check Craigslist For Frugal Computer Parts
For inexpensive computer parts post a free ad in Craigslist or search your local ads. I see people posting want ads for used computers all the time. I imagine they are using them for parts, perhaps you can give them a call or email and see if they would be willing to provide or sell you a piece they aren't using. They might even be able to connect the parts to your computer.
