For several months I have been trying to get my computer to do updates. It is set for auto update. I have turned off my firewall (and on w/anti-virus stuff off) and antivirus stuff, etc. and even though my security settings say Norton AV is off, once in a while a message pops up saying Norton is scanning or updating.
I have had an ongoing problem that is driving me crazy. My system appears to be running correctly and I have Norton 2009 internet security installed. My computer is set to automatically run any tests and updates.
For some reason my computer won't let me load any software. I can't retrieve pictures from a disk, I can't load Digital Image (which worked fine on my other computer), nothing loads from my CD reader.
I have been having problems for a while now on this website. My computer keeps freezing up. When I type www.thriftyfun in my address bar the only thing comes up is the title or top portion of the home page. The "refresh" key helps sometimes.
I use hotmail on Windows XP and I accidentally deleted my "keepers" email file. I tried retrieving it by doing a "systems restore" to an earlier date, but that did not work. Any suggestions?
My printer is not working. Hasn't for a while, since it continuously says that there is no communication with the computer. What do I need to do to fix it?
We have a computer at home and out of no where it won't let us use the USB slots on the tower anymore. So now we can't download our camera or charge and put music on our MP3 players. We tried the ones in the back, they don't work either.
