finished markerWe recently let our kids plant small vegetable gardens and wanted to make markers for the different plants. We a bunch of corks and decided to use a few of them to make plant markers.

Steps:

  1. Using a Sharpie, write the name of the plant on the cork.
  2. write plant name
     
  3. Using wire cutter, cut a piece of wire approx. 4 inches long. I chose to use an old wire hanger.
  4. cutting coat hanger
     
  5. Carefully push the wire into the bottom of the cork. Place the marker in your garden.
