Cottage Cheese-Yogurt SaladThis salad is based on two items that I don't particularly care for individually, but taste wonderful when combined. Here are two versions, that is especially good for the warm months. It is quick, healthy, inexpensive, and there can be so many combinations with the choices of ingredients and spices. The recipe here is for one person, and can easily be increased for more people.

Yield: One serving

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Mix the yogurt and cottage cheese until smooth. You will want to mash the lumps in the cottage cheese.

  3. Fold in the fruit or vegetables. I used berries and pineapple for the fruit salad, and carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes for the vegetable salad.

  5. Put in spices of your choice. I used cinnamon for the fruit salad and black pepper and dill for the vegetable salad.
