| Craft: Christmas Paper Angels
These are so sweet and easy! Just cut out a shape from paper (body and head), this is your template. Cut out two ovals of appropriate size for arms; wings are paper twist ribbon. They are approx. 6 inches high, can be personalized, hung on tree, used as fridge magnet. Or even make a garland! You can make many at a time. Cheers!

| Craft Project: Apple for the Teacher Keychain
This is a woodcraft that your youngsters can help to make to give to their teacher. It will take adult help to do the cutting of the apple, and perhaps to do the printing on the apple, but the kids can do the painting

| Craft: Gingerbread Houses
Here is a great tradition that our family has been doing for years now. It all started about 50 years ago when I decide to make a gingerbread house for Christmas. My first ones were fairly simple but over the years have gotten more complicated and quite intricate. Now, as was bound to happen, the kids and grandkids and even my great grandson have taken over.

| Craft Project: Pinecone Trees
By Debra Frick
These trees are quite easy to make and they would look great on a table or any small place you would like to put them. They also seem to be the right size to go with the miniature villages that are so popular these days. This would be a great kids craft with adult supervision. Plan an outing with the kids to gather the cones. Make it even more fun and take along some hot chocolate and donuts. The best part about this craft project is that it is almost free if you live in an area with pinecones. It is also a recycling project as you are reusing old scratch CD's or DVD's.

| Craft Project: Rag Knots Chewing Toy
I started making these for the local humane society to sell at fundraisers as well as at the local vet clinics. The vets found this as a perfect toy. It is stitched, it is safe. my own dog steals them from the sewing machine.

| Mitten Christmas Ornament
As you know, young children tend to lose things. My son recently lost a mitten and I just didn't want to throw away the remaining one. So I decided to turn it into a Christmas tree ornament.

| Craft Project: Recycled Confetti Picture Frame
This old picture frame was going to be trash until I thought of painting it and adding some extra "Happy New Years" confetti to it. I slapped on some glossy varnish and now it looks fantastic.

| Craft Project: Christmas Cards Slipper
This is a good way to recycle those beautiful Christmas cards. And, if you just can't bear to cut them up; scan a copy of the card you like and then follow the instructions just as if it were the card. These are pretty hanging on the tree or from the fireplace mantel.

| Craft Project: Cinnamon Broom Deer

This is great for hanging between your door and your storm door. It is flatter than most wreaths, etc. Cute, quick and simple to make. Start with a cinnamon broom
