Resizing a Large T-Shirt
My son had a large tee shirt he no longer wanted. I wanted to wear the shirt but it was way too big for me so I shortened the hem then rolled up the sleeves and did a fold over of about 1 1/2 inches on the shoulder seam.

Red Hat Society Bra Hat
To make a red hat out of a bra for your red hat chapter. Cut straps off red bra, and sides, just leave the cups. Fold left over material under, decorate with purple or lavender lace, and jewels.

T-Shirts for a Navy Homecoming
My son, a US sailor, was deployed for 7 months. These are the shirts I made for his nieces and nephews to wear to his homecoming . Craft Project: Layered Look T-Shirt/Blouse
Want to update your tops? Grab your husband's old T-shirts that you are now using for rags! Cut four inches from the bottom of an old t-shirt. (Generally the bottom part is still in great condition.)
