| Halloween: Horse Costume (Dog)
|
I never enjoyed playing with dolls when I was little, but I get a real kick out of dressing my dogs for Halloween. This year I made a special costume for Petey because he is as big as a horse!

| Halloween: Box O' Popcorn Costume
|
I took a box, painted it white. Then I painted red stripes, leaving a spot to make the circle (I used a pan lid to make the circle.) I cut holes out for his head and arms (cut the flaps off the open end of the box where the legs come out).

| Halloween: Michael Jackson Costume
|
Wow, this was hard to do, I can't lie. This is Michael "Drackson" (as my son calls him). We used DVD videos to sketch the make of the jacket. We bought a 60's style costume and used the little black leather jacket pattern.

| Halloween: Clark Kent Costume
|
This year my son DJ was invited to a Halloween party at the last minute and had to come up with something quick. We pulled this idea together with things we had around the house and it was a huge hit!

| Halloween: Starbucks Coffee Costume

This idea came to me because I admit, I love coffee. So much in fact, that I turned into one.

Take a man's size large crew neck white tee shirt. Take pants and shirt that fit your toddler and lay them out on the shirt. Cutout around the pants and shirt 1 inch larger. Cut out large "spots" from black fabric.

| Halloween: Popeye and Olive Oyl Costumes
|
Popeye's arms are two pairs of tights (one inside the other) stuffed in the middle with stuffing and sewn to the sleeve of his shirt. I used some red material to pin around his neck for his collar and his yellow karate belt for his waist.

| Halloween: Log Truck Costume
|
We cut the stake body out of a photocopier paper box and spray painted it black. For the logs, we cut foam swimming pool noodles down to size and 'strapped' them in with a length of duct tape. We used a pair of suspenders to hold the box onto our son's back.

| Halloween: Headless Horseman Costume

This costume has always won first place any time I have used it. We usually have someone lead the child around for safety.

| Halloween: Lollipop Guild Munchkin Costume
|
This is a very basic and clean costume that uses 2 button down shirts, a pair of gray cut slacks, white/gray striped leggings and a pair of boots. The hair style would be best if it was a big curl at the top of the head.
