Personalize Kids Pillows With Printed Faces
Make kids a pillow of themselves. You can put any fabric through an inkjet printer by ironing it to freezer paper. Make sure to first wash it to remove any sizing. OR you can buy the fabric that's made for printing.

Craft Project: Zebra Switch Plate Covers
I recently purchased a zebra print comforter set for my daughter's room. To carry out the theme, she wanted zebra print switch plate covers. Instead of purchasing pre-made ones, we decided to create our own from plain, inexpensive switch plate covers.

Craft Project: Recycled Bedspread Crafts
I bought a printed, ruffled bedspread, which I suspect is about 40 years old, for $1 at the thrift shop. In good shape, it was a little faded, which made me not want to use it on the bed, but gave it a sort of "vintage" patina. I took it apart and made several matching items to perk up my bedroom.

Children's Book Wall Art
I created this book art when decorating my son's farm bedroom. Since we went with a down on the farm theme, I wanted to incorporate some of his favorite books in artwork.

Little Boy's Lampshade
Little Boy's Lampshade. The perfect accessory for a little boy's room is a transportation-themed lampshade. Just spray paint a lampshade black to look like asphalt. Randomly arrange roadway and street-sign stickers, then hot glue a few toy cars onto the shade.

Closet Conversion
By Shauna Smith Duty
Need to tuck your television or computer into a nook so that you have more floor space in a bedroom? This simple closet conversion is inexpensive, functional, and just plain cute. Often the things tucked away in spare room closets can be discarded or stored elsewhere. That extra closet is wasted space.
