Craft: Refrigerator Caddy
I came up with the idea because my counters were always cluttered. I simply used pre-quilted cotton fabric measured to fit my refrigerator and added the pockets much like you would make a shoe bag, but of course, the pockets are smaller.

Make a Trivet From Tile and Wine Corks
Go to Home Depot or Lowe's ceramic tile department. Choose a tile that is one color but has a design in it. Take 6 corks, cut them in half as evenly as possible. Glue them to the underside of the tile.

Craft: Recycled Fruit/Cake Plate
This is my $2 fruit/cake plate that I made. However, the fruit is not usually scattered on the table but I needed to show what it looked like without them, which by the way are fake.

Craft Project: Kitchen Angel
This heavenly kitchen angel makes a nice little gift for family and friends. I have made several of these and they were a big hit. You could also make several to adorn your tree at Christmas or use to adorn packages.

Potholder Kitchen Scissors Holder
I will be making kitchen scissor holders to hang on the wall for Christmas this year. You take a potholder, a regular sized one, and fold it to a cone shape like an ice cream cone.

Craft Project: Tile Trivets
Purchase tiles of any shape or size to fit your decor. Purchase packs of cork, or rubber self sticking pads. Put the pads on the bottom of the tile and you have instant trivets/hotpads.

Craft: Dish Dollies
Do the dishes with a smile! Make one of these unique "dish dollies" to put next to your kitchen sink. This is a great way to turn odd bits of fabric, trim, beads and other craft supplies into a useful and unique hostess or bridal shower gift, too.

"Outdoors Indoors" Kitchen Decor
My kitchen needed a re-do and money was tight. So, started looking around and found some old lattice pieces outside and my kitchen theme became "Outdoors indoors". We painted the cupboards hunter green and the lattice white, put green leaves on with shaped painting foam stamps. Cut to fit and spot glued them on the doors. Used little clay pots for handles.
