Craft Project: Caterpillar Balloon
A cute addition to any buggy birthday party or just a fun spring/summer decoration for the house, this craft is sure to excite the youngest of crafters! It uses very simple, and very few supplies, so go for it!

Craft Project: Floral Ball Table Decoration
These small and elegant decorations are perfect for throwing a formal, black-tie affair, such as wedding, prom, anniversary, graduation and the like. The small black ball holds two black flowers on black stems. Each flower contains a clear gem center and the ball is decorated with a simple white ribbon.

Craft Project: Baby Shower Door Prize/Game
These are diaper pins to wear at a baby shower. Every guest gets one. One diaper has a sticker inside labeled "dirty". I put a larger pin on that one so I know it gets handed out. Whoever gets that diaper (everyone opens theirs up to check for the sticker) gets the door prize.

Let's Go to the Olympics Party
By Debra Frick
This year, I am going to throw a party on the opening day of the Olympics. The summer Olympics this year will be held in Beijing, China so I thought this would be a great time to pull out some of my favorite Chinese recipes. The menu I chose will feed between 2-4 couples. What is great about this menu is that if I choose not to cook, I can order all the food from my local Chinese take out and it will be less work for me.

Craft: Mini Papier-Mache Piñatas for Birthday Parties
Mini Papier-Mache Pinatas are great for birthday parties. Thrifty parents and children will both love this craft idea. They are fun to create and can save a ton, as the store purchased Pinatas can be expensive. As an added bonus, is you can choose the theme and the loot. Think Nemo, Thomas the Train, Barbie, My Little Pony etc.

Craft: Butterfly Pinata
This pinata was the hit of our 5th Birthday Butterfly Bash. To make it, we taped an oval balloon to a broomstick handle wedged between two chairs, and covered it with a mixture of 1 inch wide newspaper strips and paper mache paste (1 part flour to 2 parts water, with a few tablespoons of salt).

Over the Top Party Napkin Rings and Favors
For napkins holders, you may as well use contact paper and tape inside of roll. Hot glue a flower, beads, or any type of picture for the theme on the top.

Birthday Candy Cake
Glue together each set of foam circles to make one thick circle in each size. Glue or pick pin each circle on top of each other. Make sure you get as close to middle as possible. Use low temp glue gun and start glueing the miniature candy bars all around.

Onesie Cake
One of my best friends is expecting a little girl next month. We are throwing a surprise shower lunch for her at work and I thought that a "onesie cake" would be adorable for the table.

Making Your Own Graduation Announcements
By Susan Sanders-Kinzel
The cost of graduation announcements can be very steep, but I wanted to send out something nice to all our friends and extended family to let them know that my youngest child was graduating from college.
