Craft Projects for the Elderly and Disabled
There are so many small craft projects, with assistance that the elderly, handicapped and disabled can do! My most important suggestion is not to involve them in a lengthy project, but one they can accomplish in a short time frame.

Crafts Using Pop Bottle Lids
I have over a hundred pop bottle lids, soda lids. I save them to redeem the points on the Coke lids. They're all red. Is there some kind of craft I can do? I can't think of anything.

Use an Oatmeal Box to Hold Yarn
When knitting or crocheting with different color yarns, slide skeins into empty oatmeal boxes. These boxes can be set into another box of the appropriate size to hold them, or they can be taped together so they will not fall over.

Preserving Pinecones
About 20 years ago my father-in-law climbed trees in California (he was 85 then) to get me some of the largest pine cones I had ever seen. I didn't ask and was willing to gather a few from the ground.
