Removing Candle From Broken Jar
Just bought a really nice candle and before I could get in the house with it (in the sack) I dropped it and the whole side and corner of the jar shattered. Can anyone please suggest the best way to save my candle without ruining it. Please help.

Making Candles With Drizzled Colors Down Sides
I vaguely remember making candles where we would drip a colored candle, crayon, or some material onto another bigger candle. The end result was this candle with all different colored "drops" all the way around and down the sides.

Homemade Candles
A month or so ago, we decided to try to recycle a bad candle (too big, would extinguish itself). We boiled it down (*always use double boiler method) and used washed juice containers (the ones for frozen juice) for the molds, with leftover waxed linen cord for the wick.

Milk Carton Candles
Recycle used chunky candles by making your own. Melt down your leftovers double boiler style (never leave during this process), then dip the end of a new taper candle into this melted wax. Immediately place it into a clean wax-type half gallon milk carton and let it harden, making sure to keep it centered.

Craft: Wire Candle Wraps
Candle wraps! Very easy to make and adds a touch of sophistication to your plain pillar candles. Take a very light gauge wire and wrap it around your candle so you can approximate the length you need then unwrap it and add two inches before cutting.

Homemade Gel Candles
Does anyone have a recipe for making your own candle gel? I don't want to buy it ready-made if it is cheaper to make it myself.

Turn Mugs Into Gift Candles
A good way to use old mugs or even punch cups is to set a few cups on a tray, each one containing store bought votives (normally it takes two). Set the tray in the oven on 250 degrees F and let the candles melt.
