Making Vests With Pre-Quilted Fabric
I have a quick question for everyone and anyone that sews. I have about 3 yards of 3 different pieces of quilted patterned material. Originally I was going to make quilted totes, and then changed my mind.

Turn Old Sweaters Into Leg Warmers
Leg-Warmers are back in style & can easily be made from the sleeves of old sweaters, even sweaters with holes! Just turn the sweater inside-out and cut the seam out at the arm-hole using sharp scissors. Next unravel the sleeve (from the top down) until the top is straight & level all around.

Thrifty Fabric for Sewing Clothing
I have made shorts and blouses from a large bed sheet, also curtains, pillow cases etc. It's often cheaper than fabric from fabric store.

Making Clothing for a Premature Baby
Any suggestions for making clothes for premature babies? I'm thinking doll clothes (12"-15"-18") Does that sound right? Here are tips from our ThriftyFun community. Do you have any experience with preemie clothing. Post your advice here!
