Make your own beautiful dried flowers. Simply hang fresh flowers in your front room on a plant hook, leave for about two or three weeks. Voila! Beautiful flowers.

Use Beach Rocks Inside Vases
I keep my fresh flowers longer by putting them in stones I've collected at the beach. The jar is decorated with rub on decals. When flowers die, I clean off rocks, add shells and leave it.

Save Extra Paper Petals for Confetti
When you're making flowers using paper sculpting or paper quilling and find that you have extra petals, hold onto them and use them as confetti at your next party. They're much easier to sweep up.
