Are you having a hard time with trying to decide what to place on your wall in your open foyer? Or even just on a long wall? I have the solution for you!
Does anyone remember how to make yarn pom pom pillows? What I remember is that you use a homemade wooden frame with nails and you wrap the yarn around the nails. To make the pom poms you tie the yarn, but I can not recall exactly how to do it.
I have a lot of new long sleeve t-shirts and would like to know how I can use them to braid (chair seat pads). I've used them to make pillows, and mats, but now want to know if anyone has used jersey t-shirt material to braid rugs and chair pads.
I was looking for any advice on making a year round wreath. Any suggestions would be great. I have a wood wreath and a hot glue gun, but not ideas. Thanks.
I saw some place on the internet a craft using old picture frames, dollies, and lace. This made the nicest vanity tray. Can any one tell me more or where I can look?
I cannot sew, but would like to recover some old throw cushions I have on my couch. Can I glue the fabric together and just stuff the pillow inside and if I can what type of glue should I use? Thanks.
Just wanted to share an idea with you. I was at our local thrift shop to buy a sheet to re-cover the pads in our dogs cages and I bought a beautiful sheet for a $1.50 and find it's too nice to use in dog beds.
I wanted to make new throw pillows to decorate my granddaughter's bedrooms. Fiberfill is so expensive, so I started buying pillows, and taking them apart (I see that's now a tip on this site!). That's when it hit me! Why was I going through all this trouble?
I have 2 very old lamps. They are black wrought iron and glass. I want to redo the lamp shades. The color doesn't matter much. I just want to know if anyone has any ideas on how I can redo them.
