Bending Silverware for Crafts
I am trying to figure out how to bend silverware for craft projects. Will I need a torch and will a torch be okay for silverplate? I saw the silverware handles, but can't find instructions on how to do this, and I want to bend them for more than that project.

Craft: Silver Pickle Fork
Odd pieces of silver or silverplate can find a new life when transformed into a useful kitchen gadget. Using needle nosed pliers, curl up the two outer tines on one side of the fork and the outermost one on the other side, leaving one tine unbent. You now have a very functional pickle fork and a great conversation piece. If you're buying flatware for a wedding gift, buy an extra fork and add a special touch with a pickle fork to match.

Animals Made from Tableware
I am looking for instructions or pictures of animals made from old tableware (spoons and forks). Mostly I want to know how are pieces attached to each other - glue?, solder? Any tips on bending the spoon to achieve the shape?

Crafts Using Tin Cans
I'm looking for patterns and instructions for tin can crafts. My mother use to make mini furniture out of tin cans, also people (like robots) and all sorts of things. Of course, as a kid, I didn't pay any attention on how she did it. I do know that she would cut the cans in strips and then curled them. They looked like wrought iron furniture. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Years ago I received an airplane made from aluminum soda cans. Does anyone have directions to make these? The airplane is getting old and I would like a new one, but haven't seen any for sale. Thank you so much. Sandy

Looking for directions on how to make animals about drinking cans. Editor's Note: I am not sure if this poster is referring to aluminum cans or tin cans. Feel free to elaborate on this if this is your request.
