Make Bathmats Out of Towels
I decided to select towels with pretty terry cloth patterns and when I got them home I cut off the ends, folded them in half and sewed around the edges. I turned it and hemmed the edge. It makes a great absorbent bath mat!

What is a Pineapple Stitch?
I was looking for instructions on doing a border on my large rag rug I'm trying to complete and came across this site. I'll have to add it to my favorites. As a matter of fact, I make my rugs just like Grandma made hers. My only problem is, what is a pineapple stitch? I sure hope I can get some answers from the experts on this site.

Fleece Rag Rug is Puckering
I am making a fleece rag rug and it is puckering in the middle. It is already over 3 ft wide so taking it apart is not an option I want to do. How can I take the puckering out? Thanks in advance for any help from all you great crafters out there!

Rag Rug Won't Lay Flat
I have just taught myself the basics of making a rag rug using a knotted method, rather than crochet (because I'm not really sure how to do that) but for all the fabulous instructions I've found, there is nothing that tells me how to make it lay flat, without making the outer stitches huge.

Rug Hooking Crafts
This bird is a picture of the second piece of rug hooking, I ever did. Rug hooking is not as hard as one would think. You use a piece of burlap or other backings, get some wool and a hook. You can trace pattern on yourself or buy patterns already done.

Rag Rugs
I went to a craft show and a lady had fixed rugs. She cut small squares, folded them and sewed them them together. I looked on the web for rag rugs, but couldn't find this kind. She lives around Marshville, Mo.
