Scan Bulky Items for Your Scrapbook
If you don't want to put bulky items in your scrapbook, scan them and cut them out. My daughter did this with some game coins, and some Mexican coins, from our cruise earlier this month.

Using Greeting Cards for Scrapbooking
This is what we do with old greeting cards. We want to keep the memories so when we do scrapbook pages, we cut pictures from some of our old greeting cards people have sent us. For example an old Easter card from my sister became the pictures of bunnies for kids memory page.

For custom scrapbooking paper line your scanner or copier bed with a sheet of clear plastic (to protect it). Next take anything you'd like to copy like shells, small stones, pasta, flowers, grass, cookies . . .

Display Wedding Cards in a Photo Collage Frame
After getting married 08-08-08, I had all of our wedding cards in a box until I decided whether or not to scrapbook them. I had a great idea, because some of the cards had such cute fronts, I wanted to somehow display them.

Scrapbooking Material From Surprising Sources
While I don't scrapbook, my new sewing machine gave me tons of scrapbooking materials, if I was inclined! The manufacturer published a second full manual in a language I don't speak or understand.

Scrapbooking Children's School Projects
As our children grow, we save a lot of the "odd" things they make at school, church, etc. In scrapbooking, it is impossible to include most of those items. So do the next best thing and then you can scrapbook it and "scrap it" too!

Use a Shoe Holder to Organize Photographs
I bought a shoe holder that I could hang on the back of my office door and instead of putting shoes in it, I use it to organize my photographs. I can find any picture that I'm looking for within a minute or two.
