Stenciling a Design on a Suitcase
I would like to use stencils to paint a design on my suitcases for easier identification in the airport. Do they make spray paint for use on textiles? I think using a stencil brush on that coarse sort of fabric might make it hard to get a good impression. What has anyone else done with their suitcases besides tying things to them?

Tips on Stenciling

Although this is true, stenciled walls were also found in eighteenth and nineteenth century homes as a way to pattern after popular European decorating styles.

Making a Durable Stencil
To make a permanent, strong stencil, save the hard clear plastic that comes out of bacon. Wash it, and draw your design on it and use an exact-o knife to cut it out. It is very durable and holds up well.
