Total Time: 2- 1/2 to 3 hours

Source: Saw a picture of this and this is what I ended up with.

Supplies:

Steps:

  2. beginning chain for crochet hooded scarf

  3. 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook and each until end.
  4. make a double crochet in the chain stitches for the hooded scarf

  5. Ch 2, turn. 1 dc in next stitch and each until end.
  6. turn and make another row of double crochet for hooded scarf

  7. Repeat last step 14 times more, for a total of 16 rows. **If you want your hood to be wider, work another row or two at this point**
  8. measuring the width of the hooded scarf, more rows can be added to increase the width

It looks like I missed something, it looks as though the instructions only included how to do the hood? I missed the scarf part

Wow! Common sense. And so easy, too. And here I am knitting watchmans hats for sailors, a charity project. They are wool or washable wool. I don't think they'd go for this scarf/hood though.

I'm searching for retired yarn workers to see if they want to part with their wool. It's so expensive.
