Crock Pot Potatoes

>Ingredients:

• 2 cans cheddar cheese soup
• 1 (1 lb.) pkg. hash browns
• 1 small can Durkee onion rings
• 1 can condensed (evaporated) milk

Directions:

Mix together and cook in crockpot on high for about 3 hours or until potatoes are cooked.

A synonym for evaporated milk is "condensed milk." If a recipe calls for sweetened condensed milk, it should say sweetened - so the questions are correct, just a matter of interpretation. To clarify the original recipe, yes, you should use evaporated milk. (04/22/2006)
