Dealing with Dry Hair

To help with dry hair, use a regular conditioner followed by 1/4 cup of vinegar to one cup of water; rinse and your hair will feel amazing. Also air dry when you can, and leave off the flat iron. I also heard that using a tiny touch of "Downy Fabric Softener" in your hair will also condition it.

I know that Downy Fabric softener conditions hair. When my granddaughter was too small to care for her own hair I accidentally picked up the diluted fabric softener instead of the detangler to get the tangles from her long beautiful hair. I realized my mistake when her hair was so much easier to comb and checked what I had done. After that I always gave her hair a final rinse with the diluted fabric softener, just about 1/4 teaspoon in a cup that held 16 oz. of water. I never had trouble with tangles again. She was happy and we received many compliments on how shiny and soft her hair was.
