Dining Room Curtains and Rug Color Advice?

We just finished putting a med/dark wood floor and sage green walls in our dining room. I need ideas for color of curtains (I am thinking rod-type and 84" long) and an area rug for underneath the dining room table. Any ideas would be appreciated.

what type of furniture do you have? If you're dining set is dark go dark, if it is glass and/or modern go light

Sage green actually comes in different shades from light to dark so some colors would make your room too dark where other colors may be too light.

I believe cranberry (not red) would go with some sage with maybe gray with mixed colors of light orange/brown for a rug.
Also, creamy beige or even peach with some green mixture might bring out the wall color and add accents with some black.
Actually, many colors would go well with your walls and floor but the final decision would be what style you are going for; whether you are going for modern, warm, formal or even country.
