Discarding Left Over Grease

Of course, I never pour it down the drain, but if it ends up in the kitchen trash bag, I often have drips on the floor after carrying it to the dumpster. So I use whatever empty can, soup, vegetables, whatever I have on hand, then put it into the freezer. When it gets full and solid, it goes into the kitchen trash bag the night before dumpster collection. No more greasy drips.

If you use paper towels to dry your hands, save them and allow them to dry, place them into a used plastic bag with no holes and when you have several towels in there, slowly pour the slightly cooled grease into the bag onto the towels. Use twist tie or knot the bag and take to the outside trash. No mess.
