Dog Won't Stop Licking?

My dog is 10 years old and she won't stop licking. She licks herself constantly and is starting to go bald in the spot she's licking. She also constantly licks the furniture. Is it just part of her old age, or is there a way to stop her licking?

Many conditions can cause too much licking. Often it is a food allergy, or it can be a biochemical. You probably do need a Vet to get a helpful answer. Good luck.
