Dogs Stopped Drinking Water?

I have started making dog food for my dogs- a Springer Spaniel and a Shih Tzu. The recipe calls for a large amount of water, hamburger, chicken liver, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, and brown rice. You boil all the ingredients, mash, cool well, and place in fridge - freezer in individual containers until time to use. The dogs love it and go to the bathroom (both kinds) regularly. Both dogs around the same time have stopped drinking water. Is something in the homemade dog food making them sick?
