How and when did you get your pet?
A year and a half ago, I saw Doodle's picture on an animal shelter's "adoptable pets" site and immediately fell in love with her. As soon as the shelter worker brought her out, that love intensified and Doodle became a permanent member of our family.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
Doodle loves playing with her Beagle pal that we had prior to adopting Doodle. She loves squeaky, crinkly toys.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
When we adopted Doodle, the shelter worker told us we could go over to a table they had set up and pick up a free item for Doodle. Just for fun, I told my husband to take her over and let her choose the gift. She by-passed all of the edible treats and went straight to a basket under the table and pulled out a gray and pink squeaky, crinkly elephant. We've bought her many similar toys that she loves playing with, but that well-worn elephant is still her favorite.

Hi! Doodle is a Doll! I'm curious to know how you find Beagles in comparison to other dogs-( I entered "Penny the One-Eyed Hound" in this contest). Penny is half Beagle, & the 1st Beagle I've ever "owned" (she stole OUR hearts!!) I've had many a lovely dog bless my life along the way, but I find Penny to be truly exceptional, almost like a human baby in the way she cuddles & coos, in the sweetness of her heart, & such a little clown!
