The front of our house was so plain looking. We went to the local Menard's and bought shutters for the windows and paint for the foundation. It all cost under $50 to get a much better look. And it took very little time or skill!
I have included the after and before pictures for comparing. One of the pictures before the painted foundation was taken after shutters placed, there was nothing before around the windows.
