Dye Transfer on Clothing

I wore a black polyester and elasthanne cardigan top over an orange linen knitted sweater and the black material bled all over the under arm area of the orange linen knit sweater. How do I remove this black staining? Any help you can give will be sincerely appreciated.

Most linen knit sweaters are dry clean only. You can try taking it to a dry cleaner and tell them what the stains are. They should be able to tell you whether or not they can remove them. (05/18/2009)
