Craft Photo: Easter Basket
I designed this Easter Basket for my 1 year old granddaughter. I drew a bunny on both sides by hand, with beads for eggs under him. Then I put a pom pom tail on the end. I spelled her name out on the handle, with more egg beads.

Pre-Filled Easter Baskets Might Not Be Worth It
This is kind of a "buyer beware" concerning those pre-packed Easter Baskets the stores sell in the spring. My daughter bought a superhero one for my grandson this year. It was filled with small inexpensive toys, a few other odds and ends, and a box of cookies.

Drawer Organizer Easter Baskets
Need a last-minute Easter basket? You've probably got packs of plastic drawer organizers (the kind you might put silverware in) somewhere in your house that you've never used. Well, now's the time!

$1 Easter Bonnet Baskets
Last year I made a wonderful little Easter basket for my 5 year old granddaughter using an Easter Bonnet from the dollar store instead of the traditional Easter Basket. These Easter Bonnets for kids come in many different styles and colors at my local Dollar Tree.

Easter Baskets for All Ages
Older children that have outgrown your typical Easter basket still love getting a basket, so I put new summer outfits, passes to a movie, gift certificates or cards to fast food places, and favorite candy bars, cookies or even gum.

Use a Balloon to Make an Easter Basket
A fun Easter "egg basket" is made by winding crochet thread around a balloon that is not completely blown up (balloon is in a "egg" shape when not completely blown up).

Summer Themed Easter Baskets
I have four children and Easter baskets can get messy, expensive, and just full of junk, so every year I give them everything they will need (and ask for anyway ) for a fun summer. The basket is always a big sand pail.

Saving Money on Easter Baskets
Inexpensive ways to create, put together or purchase easter baskets and their filler as suggested by the ThriftyFun community. Make your own Easter baskets. Use baskets from around the house or reuse strawberry baskets. You can use fresh grass from outside as basket filler!

Rice Krispy Treat Easter Baskets
For many years I have been making Easter baskets for my children and, now grandchildren from Rice Krispy Treats. I use a few more marshmallows than usual and tint them green. I then turn whatever size bowl I want to use upside down. This will be the size of the basket.

Split Easter Basket Purchases Between Families
When creating your Easter Baskets, get together with friends/neighbors or relatives who have children in the same age range and share multi packages of trinkets/toys or candies. Then your baskets will have more variety and save you a lot of $$$.
